As a proud Taiwanese, two things about my homeland never fail to fill me with pride: the warmth of its people and the excellence of its healthcare system. Taiwanese people are known for their genuine kindness — whether helping a lost tourist navigate the subway or offering an umbrella to a stranger caught in the rain, everyday acts of generosity define who we are. Equally impressive is Taiwan's National Health Insurance system, which provides affordable, high-quality medical care to virtually every citizen. Having grown up benefiting from this system, I believe it stands as one of the most humane policies in the world. To share these treasures with a global audience, I would suggest two approaches. First, short documentary films showcasing real stories of Taiwanese hospitality could be distributed on platforms like YouTube and Netflix, allowing viewers worldwide to witness our culture firsthand. Second, the government could invite international journalists and healthcare professionals to visit Taiwan, giving them a chance to experience our medical system personally. Only by letting the world see and feel what Taiwan has to offer can we truly build a lasting impression. After all, no advertisement is more convincing than genuine human experience.

強調句 / 否定詞倒裝two things about my homeland never fail to fill me with pride

這個句型利用雙重否定(never + fail)來產生肯定且強烈的語氣,遠比單純說 always make me feel proud 更有力道。 I am proud of two things 改用 never fail to fill me with pride,除了展現對此句型的掌握,「fill me with pride」也是比 make me proud 更具畫面感的精準用語,動詞片語的選擇本身就已加分。 Traveling to new places never fails to broaden my perspective.;寫「音樂的力量」時可說:Listening to music never fails to lift my spirits after a long day.

分詞構句(表示舉例說明)whether helping a lost tourist navigate the subway or offering an umbrella to a stranger caught in the rain

①文法規則:此處使用了「whether V-ing … or V-ing …」的分詞構句,省略了重複的主詞與 be 動詞(完整形式為 whether they are helping … or offering …),用來列舉具體例子說明前一個抽象概念(genuine kindness)。whether … or … My grandmother expresses her love in countless small ways, whether cooking a late-night meal for me or quietly placing a blanket over my shoulders.

精準用字(形容詞的升級替換)one of the most humane policies in the world

例如:描述某項法律時,不說 a good law,而說 a progressive law(進步的法律)或 an equitable policy(公平的政策);描述某位老師時,不說 a nice teacher,而說 a dedicated educator(投入的教育者)。

Only by letting the world see and feel what Taiwan has to offer can we truly build a lasting impression.

We can truly build a lasting impression only by letting the world see and feel what Taiwan has to offer. 一般學生習慣以 In conclusion, I think … 收尾,語氣疲軟;用 Only by … can we … Only by respecting each other can we create a truly harmonious society. / Only through continuous practice can one master a foreign language.

平行結構(並列對稱)short documentary films showcasing real stories of Taiwanese hospitality could be distributed on platforms like YouTube and Netflix … the government could invite international journalists and healthcare professionals to visit Taiwan

①文法規則:第二段提出兩個行銷建議,分別以「First, … could be distributed …」和「Second, … could invite …」 First, schools could organize … to help students … Second, parents could encourage … by …
