這是同一題的頂標等級範文，標色的地方是值得學起來的進階文法句型或用字。
If I could spend one perfect day without worrying about money, the first person I would invite is my grandmother. She raised me while my parents were busy working, filling my childhood with bedtime stories and the smell of her cooking. Now that she is in her eighties, I treasure every moment with her, knowing that time is not on our side. Having her by my side on this dream day would make every experience ten times more meaningful. For the day itself, I would fly both of us first-class to Kyoto, Japan — a place she has always dreamed of visiting but never had the chance to. We would stroll through the bamboo groves of Arashiyama in the morning, taking in the cool, green silence together. In the afternoon, I would treat her to an authentic kaiseki meal at a traditional restaurant overlooking a quiet garden. As the sun set, we would watch the golden light fall over the Kamo River, saying nothing, simply enjoying each other's company. No luxury hotel or business-class seat could ever match the joy of seeing her smile in a place she once only dreamed of. That smile would be the most priceless thing money could buy — and the memory I would keep forever.

這是標準的「與現在事實相反」假設語氣，用 if + 過去式（could）開頭，引出整篇文章的核心情境。學測作文只要題目出現「如果你可以……」，幾乎都必須用這個句型起頭。注意主要子句要接 would / could + 原形動詞，前後一致才不失分。
這是現在分詞構句，用來取代「and she filled my childhood with…」，讓句子更緊湊、節奏更流暢。學生可以把兩個動作合併：先寫主要動詞，再用「V-ing…」帶出附帶結果或狀況，是讓句子「升級」的常用技巧。
「knowing that…」是分詞構句表「原因／心理狀態」的用法，相當於 because I know that…，但比直接用 because 更有文學感。這裡巧妙地暗示祖母年事已高，情感層次深，閱卷老師會認為考生情感表達細膩。
破折號後接同位語「a place she has always dreamed of visiting…」，補充說明京都對奶奶的意義，讓句子資訊量豐富又不顯雜亂。這種「名詞 — 名詞片語」的插入說明，是英文寫作中讓描述更立體的好方法，學生可以在介紹地點、人物時多加運用。
