In recent years, becoming a "YouTuber" or online influencer has risen to the top of many teenagers' dream career lists, and this phenomenon is hardly surprising when we consider the forces driving it. To begin with, social media platforms have made it easier than ever for ordinary people to gain overnight fame, and it is this accessibility that has fueled countless teens' fantasies of stardom. Moreover, growing up surrounded by glamorous videos of influencers traveling the world, unboxing luxury products, and seemingly earning effortless income, young viewers naturally begin to idolize this lifestyle without seeing the hidden struggles behind the camera. Were it not for the rise of smartphones and video-sharing apps, such a career path would hardly even exist, let alone appeal to so many impressionable minds. Turning to the career itself, being a content creator does offer one undeniable advantage: creative freedom. Unlike employees bound by a nine-to-five schedule, influencers can express their personalities and pursue their passions, be it gaming, cooking, or travel, while being their own boss. That said, this path is not without serious risks, the most notable being financial instability, since income often depends on unpredictable algorithms and fickle audience attention, leaving even popular creators vulnerable to sudden drops in views and revenue. Having observed several classmates obsess over view counts and neglect their studies in pursuit of online fame, I would advise any friend dreaming of this career to treat content creation as a long-term craft rather than a shortcut to quick success. Specifically, they should build a backup skill set, whether in writing, design, or marketing, so that their future is not solely dependent on the whims of an ever-changing digital platform. Only by balancing passion with practicality can one hope to turn this trendy dream into a sustainable career.
文法規則上,原本的句子是 'This accessibility has fueled countless teens' fantasies of stardom.',但把想強調的主詞 'this accessibility' 抽出來放進 It is...that... 學生可以在自己文章中套用,例如寫「都市化造成交通壅塞」時可以寫成 'It is rapid urbanization that has caused severe traffic congestion.'
完整版本應為 'If it were not for the rise of smartphones..., such a career path would hardly even exist.',但學測頂標範文常用「省略 if、將 were 提到主詞前」的倒裝寫法,也就是 Were it not for + 名詞片語, 主句(would/could/might + 原形動詞),這種句型文法層次較高,能展現學生對假設語氣變化的熟練度,而非只會用基本的 If S + 過去式, S + would + 原形。 Were it not for the internet, remote learning would be impossible.'
She can barely speak English, let alone write an academic essay.'
比起寫成 'Because I have observed several classmates...I would advise...' Having witnessed the negative effects of excessive screen time, I believe teenagers should set strict limits on daily device usage.'
Online shopping offers many conveniences, the most obvious being time efficiency.'
Her plan is not without merit, though it requires further refinement.'
