Parks come in many different forms, each catering to different needs. As shown in Picture A, this park is designed primarily for children, featuring a climbing frame, a dome-topped slide, and other colorful play equipment. What makes it especially safe is the cushioned flooring beneath the structures, which is clearly intended to protect young children from injury should they fall while playing. In contrast, Picture B presents a completely different atmosphere. Instead of play equipment, this park is covered with tall, dense trees, neatly trimmed bushes, and open lawns, with a small sign standing quietly among the greenery. Rather than being built for active play, it seems designed for those seeking peace, fresh air, and a break from the noise of the city. If I could design my ideal park, it would combine the best features of both. On one side, there would be a safe, well-equipped playground, complete with soft flooring, so that children could play freely without parents worrying about accidents. On the other side, there would be a quiet, tree-lined area with benches hidden among the shade, where adults could read, meditate, or simply relax. Not only would such a park serve people of all ages, but it would also remind city dwellers that nature and fun need not be separated. To me, a truly ideal park is one where a child's laughter and an elder's quiet rest can coexist under the same sky.

假設語氣倒裝句which is clearly intended to protect young children from injury should they fall while playing

文法規則是:在正式英文中,表「萬一」的假設句可以把 if 省略,並將 should 提到主詞前方形成倒裝,例如 if he should come 可寫成 should he come。 Should it rain tomorrow, the outdoor event will be cancelled.

In contrast, Picture B presents a completely different atmosphere.

In contrast, the countryside offers a slower pace of life.

Rather than being built for active play, it seems designed for those seeking peace, fresh air, and a break from the noise of the city.

比起直接寫 "It is not built for active play. It is designed for relaxation." Rather than focusing on grades, the teacher emphasized creativity.

Not only would such a park serve people of all ages, but it would also remind city dwellers that nature and fun need not be separated.

這是學測作文中很經典的加分句型,因為倒裝句能展現學生對英文句構的掌握度,遠比單純寫 "This park would serve people of all ages and also remind..." Not only did she study hard, but she also helped her classmates.

精準修辭結尾句a truly ideal park is one where a child's laughter and an elder's quiet rest can coexist under the same sky

比起直接寫 "a truly ideal park has children laughing and elders resting",這種寫法更有畫面感與詩意,也能讓結尾句更有力道,適合放在文章最後作總結。 A good leader is one where words and actions always align.
